Trinidad and Tobago’s cocoa producers have won numerous awards globally, securing the country’s Trinitario cocoa as one of the world’s finest.

Trinitario cocoa originated in Trinidad and Tobago and is world-renowned for its delicate flavour combination, due in part to the country’s unique soil and climate conditions.

Join us in Lopinot’s “Straight from the Pod” Tour. Lopinot, is a little village nestled in the foothills of the Northern Range.
We depart from our agreed location and make our way through roads lined with lush vegetation.

Our first stop is the Mariposa Café where we will explore, on foot, different varieties of cocoa and learn about their origins and what gives them their unique flavour. We then proceed to the Chocolate Bar Demonstration where you will see the chocolate making process and get a sample the final product. Next, we are served lunch. You have the option of meals indigenous to Lopinot or Cocoa-inspired meals.

Finally, we proceed to the Historical site where we explore the grounds and picnic until our departure.
